This service allows applicants to claim priority over a previous application using a copy of the priority document in a secure World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) database. By participating in the scheme, applicants will not have to provide a certified copy of the priority document separately to each participating patent office with which the patent application is filed. Instead, they will simply have to provide an access number supplied by the WIPO and authorise consultation of the document.
This is done, after filing an application, by presenting a certified copy of the application to deposit a patent document, utility model or industrial design document in WIPO's digital library.
Subsequently, when filing applications claiming priority for that application, the applicant only needs to refer to that deposit in the WIPO digital library, indicating the access code provided.
Once the application has been filed, the deposit of a certified copy of the utility model or patent document in WIPO's digital library can be requested by submitting form PDAS1 through the eOLF application, using the ES(TSUBS) module for subsequent procedures.

Requests to deposit a certified copy of the utility model or patent document in WIPO's digital library can be made electronically through the eOLF application. There is no the need to attach a form for this. However, the following form is available, should it be necessary.
The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office regularly invites applications for subsidies to promote patent and utility model applications, to encourage actions aimed at promoting access to national and international industrial property for Spanish inventors. This page provides a link to the application for applying for such subsidies. The closing dates established in the invitation to apply must be respected.
