Opendata is a Spanish Patent and Trademark Office portal for publication of public data generated in reusable form, so that third parties can exploit the data through their own or derivative services.
The opening up of public data consists of publishing the information held in the public sector to make it available to all citizens in a digital, standardised and open format, following a clear structure that enables data compression. At the same time, access to this information is facilitated to promote its reuse. This includes reusable information in all categories of industrial property:
- Inventions (patents and utility models)
- Trademarks and trade names
- Industrial designs
