Procedures
The stages of the Online Enquiry are as follows:
1. Access the Online Enquiry application, it is necessary to hold a digital certificate.
2. Select the File Type that you wish to request
3. Enter the file number(s) (and Bis if any).
4. Perform Online Payment (See instructions on Online Payment on "Online procedures" of the Webpage of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office).
a. Select CM03 as the payment code
b. Complete Form 791 and send it.
c. Select the certificate with which you want to perform the transaction.
d. Check the details of the transaction.
e. Sign and send the details.
f. You will receive notification of the charge made to your account, including the AEAT NRC (transaction reference number).
g. Print Form 791 as the SPTO payment receipt, which you may present should it become necessary.

5. Once you have performed the Online Payment, you must enter the barcode number.
6. Please allow 24-48 hours to download the file.
